Eleven years building products across FinTech, EdTech, and enterprise. One exit, 275K users in 69 countries, 150+ teams mentored. In the last nine months I built 6 AI products hands-on with Claude Code — and learned that when building gets cheap, judgment becomes the whole job.
Claude Code writes the code. So the question stopped being "can we build it" and became "should this exist, and who is it for." That selection is the work now.
In enterprise AI, teams celebrate the demo — then find out distribution and evals were the actual product. I build for the second part.
A feature without an eval is a guess. I write the eval before the feature, so I know whether a model change helped or quietly broke something.
Explaining product to 150+ teams forces the thinking to be simple enough to be true. If I can't teach it, I don't understand it yet.
I don't talk about AI products in the abstract. I build them, ship them, and read the analytics — including for the ones that flopped. Every link below is a live deployment.
